Chapter 37 – Instant kill, the power of Goblin Slayer!

Upon hearing the command, everyone began preparing to launch their attack!

At that moment, the ground started to tremble incessantly, as if something was about to emerge from below!

The next second!

"Swish!!!"

Three sharp bone spikes shot up from around Gru, skewering three Grey Hat mages like kebabs.

"Help, help me..."

"My steel gate! My steel gate has been pierced!"

"Ahhh!"

After a few seconds of agonizing screams, the three lost their breath.

Goblin Kind savored their screams and twisted expressions, taking a deep breath, "Such a beautiful sound. Boss, can I have more?"

"Damn pervert, do whatever you want."

Lin Tian felt a wave of disgust. He knew this guy was twisted, but he hadn't expected him to be this twisted!

Finally, he understood the saying, "Look at those blooming chrysanthemums, bursting all over the mountain~."

Seeing this, Cecil raised his Holy Light Sword and struck first, slashing at Goblin Kind.

Faced with an attack that had a restraining effect on magical creatures, Goblin Kind didn't even try to dodge. He swung his bone tail to block it!

His left hand transformed into a long bone spike and thrust it towards Cecil.

"This guy is tough to deal with!"

Cecil quickly retreated back into the Blizzard formation.

The Holy Light couldn't restrain pure bones, making a direct confrontation too difficult.

At this moment, Goblin Fury led a large group of Great Type goblins in a fierce assault.

The mages were momentarily at a loss, terrified by the three corpses, and didn't dare to attack.

All they could think of was using defensive magic to protect their vulnerable chrysanthemums.

"What are you standing around for, you bunch of idiots!"

Gru cursed angrily, getting up to cast a spell to repel the goblins.

But he felt a sudden chill beneath him!

He quickly stepped back.

"Swish!"

Another bone spike shot up.

Gru gasped in terror, "Just a bit closer and my old chrysanthemum would be gone!"

"Pity, Boss, should we go all out?"

Goblin Kind asked.

Their formation was already disrupted, so Lin Tian decided, "It's about time. Finish them off!"

"Roar!"

Goblin Fury knocked away a silver shield with his massive axe, splitting the shield knight's armor with one blow, and with a second, left him dizzy. The third blow cut him in half.

Over a hundred Great Type goblins charged in!

Faced with this frenzied attack, Cecil couldn't care about anything else, "Retreat! Quickly! I think we've been set up! Why are there so many Great Type goblins?!"

Normally, a goblin tribe would be mostly made up of low-level goblin minions.

Those were easy to kill.

But now they were facing hundreds of fully armed Great Types!

And there were Hero Types and Mutant Types too!

As Cecil and the others were about to mount their horses to escape, they heard the sound of arrows whizzing through the air!

"Whoosh whoosh whoosh!"

A barrage of arrows shot at the carnivorous horses, causing them to scatter in all directions.

There was no way to ride them.

Cecil's legs went weak with fear, "It's over. I should have known the Elven race would be shooting from the shadows. I should have known!"

He then ran forward frantically, not caring about anyone else.

Behind him were heart-wrenching screams!

Cecil looked back and saw what seemed like the most tragic scene in the world! He was so scared he almost cried, "I have to escape! I have to escape! Father, I surrender, please send the regular army!"

He saw seven or eight people skewered on Goblin Kind's bone spikes, avoiding vital spots, so they couldn't die immediately.

They twisted like insects on skewers, unable to break free.

Their mouths emitted pitiful cries.

"Hehehe, Goblin Fury, don't kill them yet. Let me have some fun first."

Goblin Kind laughed evilly.

Goblin Fury then impaled Gru on a bone spike in front of him, "Alright."

"No, no! Cecil! Save me!"

Gru cried in pain, tears and saliva streaming down his face, veins bulging on his forehead, his eyes almost popping out!

He couldn't stop his chrysanthemum from contracting, but each contraction brought excruciating pain!

Oh no, it was piercing pain!

But Cecil had no time to worry about him.

He noticed something moving rapidly through the bushes around him!

Too fast! It caught up with him in an instant!

"Help, someone save me!"

Cecil finally broke down in tears. After all, he was just a nineteen-year-old who had barely reached adulthood.

With death looming around him, he couldn't hold it together anymore.

At that moment, he saw a figure clad in heavy armor, exuding a sense of security!

Goblin Slayer!

"Sir! Please save me!"

Cecil reached out and shouted, his face full of pleading!

If he could, he would kneel down immediately.

Seeing their miserable state, Goblin Slayer was not surprised, "Just a Mutant Type? Well, that's somewhat interesting."

Cecil used all his strength, running as fast as he could to reach her!

But disaster always struck first.

Goblin Assassins leaped out from the bushes, attacking and biting him madly.

Luckily, Cecil's armor was thick, so he wasn't injured, but his steps slowed.

He staggered, unable to walk properly.

He couldn't shake off the goblins, who clung to him like glue.

His weapon was taken first.

This was part of Lin Tian's special training for the goblins: if they could steal a weapon, they should do it first.

Suddenly, Cecil's vision went dark!

Goblin Sky had jumped out and grabbed his face, his claws sharper than a simple dagger.

In a few swipes, he shredded the helmet.

Goblin Sky opened his foul-smelling mouth, full of sharp teeth, ready to bite!

Like he was at an all-you-can-eat buffet.

"Whoosh!"

At that moment, a dagger flew over, piercing Goblin Sky's back!

He jumped away in pain, writhing on the ground as if in extreme agony!

Sensing something was wrong, he stumbled and ran towards Lin Tian.

Several other Goblin Assassins were also hit by daggers.

Without exception, they twisted in pain on the ground, as if their bones were being broken!

Finally, they let out a scream and lost their breath.

They died in twisted shapes.

Cecil crawled to Goblin Slayer's feet, "Thank you! Thank you! I will repay you!"

"Are you obedient?"

Goblin Slayer asked calmly, picking up the dagger.

Cecil nodded frantically.

Goblin Slayer then said, "If you're obedient, stay far away from me. Roll as far as you can, you ridiculous child."

"What are you going to do? Don't go! This isn't an ordinary goblin tribe; there's definitely a Goblin Overlord! It's the first time I've seen a goblin tribe with only Great Types fighting! Don't go, don't go!"

Cecil almost shouted, wanting to kneel and beg her.

But Goblin Slayer didn't care, "Is that so? I was worried there wouldn't be a Goblin Overlord. The more, the better. That would satisfy me."

She then walked forward leisurely and powerfully.

At that moment, Goblin Kind and his group were taunting Gru and the others on the bone spikes.

Faced with eyes looking at them like a buffet of small barbecues, they were on the verge of collapse!

It was too cruel and terrifying!

They wished someone would kill them. This feeling of being tortured, not killed, was a thousand times worse than death!

"Swish!"

Suddenly, a small dagger flew over.

It pierced Goblin Fury's body.

Such an attack was negligible to him. He casually pulled it out, "What is this?"

As he wondered, his eyes suddenly twitched!

Intense pain shot from the wound to his brain!

His muscles bulged, and he began ramming wildly!

He knocked down several large trees and then a boulder, knocking himself out.

"What's going on? Goblin Fury, are you crazy?"

Goblin Kind was bewildered, and the other Great Types looked at each other, not knowing what was happening.

Gru and the others noticed someone ahead, "Goblin Slayer!"

They felt like they had seen their savior!

They wanted to shout but didn't dare. If they exerted themselves, their chrysanthemums would feel like they were tearing apart.

After all, science shows that when people speak loudly, their steel gates vibrate with every word.

Those with hemorrhoids would feel even worse, as they would push out.

Lin Tian had already noticed her arrival but couldn't understand her methods!

Killing Goblin Assassins was one thing, but now Goblin Fury and Goblin Sky were down!

Their fate was unknown.

Goblin Kind also saw her and swung his bone tail, stabbing fiercely!

Goblin Slayer grabbed the tail, pulled out a giant broadsword from her back, and slashed!

She cut off the entire tail!

Goblin Kind didn't feel it but lost a weapon.

Goblin Slayer then tossed the bone tail aside, shouldering the rusty broadsword, "Are you the boss of these goblins?"

She found it hard to believe.

How could such a ragtag group of goblins defeat the Sword Saintess?

It couldn't be strength, nor intelligence.

It seemed even less likely.

Goblin Kind was furious, "Kill this guy!"

With that, all the Great Type goblins charged!

Goblin Slayer remained calm, spinning her broadsword in a whirlwind!

Dozens of Great Types were severely injured, losing limbs.

Not killed instantly.

But the strange scene happened again!

The injured goblins began to scream and twist madly! In no time, they lost consciousness.

In less than a minute, three or four dozen Great Types were dead!

Continuing the attack would be suicide.

In the sky, Lin Tian's expression was grim, "Damn it, what kind of trick is this? According to the system, her skills are just basic attacks, no magic!"

But now, they had suffered unprecedented losses!

And in such a short time.

The Great Type goblins were too scared to advance.
